Setting the Scene: The Trolley-Lady

She stacked a fresh batch of cauldron cakes atop her trolley, releasing a fresh smell of caramel and cinnamon. She strolled down the corridor, occasionally taking a peek inside the compartments. She was careful. With years in this job, the students are happy when they see her, but she doesn't want to be intrusive. Oh she loves these kids and they are well-behaved, but teenagers are capricious!

The Hogwarts students are her favorite customers, but some of them tend to look at her curiously which makes her fluster even at age 102. Unfortunately, being a Squib gets you less-friendly looks. It's just amazing, however, that her grandson is starting at Hogwarts next year! Truly exciting! She herself didn't get to study at Hogwarts, of course. But, oh the wonderful time her grandson would have!

Four compartments ahead, a shock of red hair peeked out from the cabin. A Weasley. Once he saw her, he grinned broadly and waved. She smiled back and he darted back inside his compartment. She remembered the first time she saw him. He had looked so dejected not being able to buy cauldron cakes from her trolley, but his best friend--a lanky boy with black hair, who turned out to be Harry Potter--bought cakes for his friend. Such a thoughtful boy. ❤ Maybe her grandson can be friends with them and they can go on adventures! She let the thought linger as she pushed the Honeydukes Express trolley towards the red-headed boy. ❤
