Only now have I finished the three Pottermore eBooks. Yikes! Turns out I'm not really good at reading multiple books interchangeably. However, that didn't stop me from enjoying Rowling's collection of short stories! :)
Ever since the series ended, JK Rowling hasn't been shy on releasing new information about the Wizarding World through interviews and tweets. What I don't understand is how people or "fans" are getting tired of it. I know I never will! A lot of people doesn't seem to understand that when JK Rowling wrote Harry Potter, she created a new universe. And this new universe will never cease existing. Instead this universe will only grow or solidify as time goes. Harry Potter's story may be complete and have come full-circle, but the world he was written in is incredibly vast and complex. And what Rowling is doing is brushing up the world she painted. The foreground is complete, but she's still working on the background--building an elaborate puzzle to give us the bigger picture. I will never get tired of learning new information about the Wizarding World. I thoroughly enjoyed these eBooks, but out of the three, I've enjoyed two the most.

Pottermore Presents: Short Stories from Hogwarts of Heroism, Hardship and Dangerous Hobbies
This eBook contains profiles on already-known or relatively-known personalities of the Wizarding World.
The first eBook seemed to me like the shortest and arguably, forgettable (for me!) Although still interesting as you read it, as a potterhead, I found that most of its contents were already previously revealed, just written on a different way. True. It was enthralling to read more about Lupin's lycanthropy and how he powered through it. It was inspiring to read McGonagall's life as a bad-ass-but-still-classy witch. However, it did not gave me that feeling of wonder as with her other writings.
Pottermore Presents: Short Stories from Hogwarts of Power, Politics and Pesky Poltergeists
As I'm starting to believe to be part of my nature, I have an aversion to the word politics or anything related. Which was why it became such a surprise when I enjoyed this eBook! It wasn't annoying or boring in any sense of the word. It was actually rather enlightening having learned a few from the Wizarding World's past leaders, and how they worked in order to protect this world I fell in love with.
I didn't really care much for Umbridge, but the background given to Slughorn and Peeves were fascinating and eye-opening.
Pottermore Presents: Hogwarts: An Incomplete and Unreliable Guide
This is my favorite book out of the three. I genuinely felt like a Hogwarts student. Haha! It felt somehow like reading a bit from Hogwarts: A History. It took me to a student's journey inside the famed and sublime school. It offered a sort-of conversation with the Hogwarts Ghosts. It unearthed some of the mysteries behind Hogwarts' most fascinating magical objects. It also showcased the depth of Rowling's knowledge on various subjects. It further proved that she doesn't just invent stuff to churn out new writing; she really does her research and paints a world so intricate and wondrous.
This book was a trigger. Intense nostalgia of the afternoons on my summers spent re-watching the Harry Potter movies over and over again. Hedwig's theme playing at the back of my mind magnified my thirst to be back at a Harry Potter theme park.

Man, I miss Hogwarts. :( I miss Harry Potter. I miss their friendship and adventures. I even miss Peeves--that pesky poltergeist! I love JK Rowling, but you know what I would really really appreciate? An encyclopedia of the Wizarding World written and released by JK Rowling. I know, I understand. Since JK Rowling hasn't released all information yet, it would be cumbersome to release an incomplete version now and have it updated again in the future, most especially now at the advent of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. But hey, when the time comes and she's through *cries* with the Wizarding World, maybe she'd consider it? :p
